I thought Bev and Dave might like to see the results of their handiwork. I won these seeds at auction two years ago at the Winter Scientific Meeting. They sat in the freezer for a year and I grew them this past Winter. This was in a large container with other seedlings and caught my eye. Today it got moved to a premium spot

Great growing Dan. Thanks for sending the picture for us to see. It looks very much like 'Jambo', and I don't see much influence from 'Squash Casserole'.

Nice streaking Dan, time will tell what genes will take over.

Thanks, Bev,Hostanewbie,Nancy,Jo Jo, Rod, and Reldon.
Bev you deserve the credit for the great seed.
I've decided that even if Squash Casserole's genes don't show through, it's gonna get a steady diet of rippled pollen next year if it flowers, I really want the ripples.
Dan
PS I 'll hit it again with Squash Casserole if I can get the pollen |
